Mumbai Police ask Alia Bhatt to file a complaint after she slammed media portal for leaking her private pics

Alia Bhatt recently lost her cool after a media portal shared pictures of her sitting inside her living room. The actress was having some me-time in the viral photos. Alia slammed the publication for invading her privacy. The actress had also tagged Mumbai Police in her post. Now, according to the latest update, Mumbai Police has asked Alia to file a complaint. The actress’ team is in touch with the concerned portal.

Mumbai Police asks Alia to file a complaint

ANI tweeted, “Mumbai Police has contacted actor Alia Bhatt & asked her to file a complaint in the matter where a photographer clicked her private pictures & these pictures were published on an online portal. The actor has told police that her PR team is in touch with the concerned portal: Police.”

On Tuesday, Alia had shared the post on her Instagram Stories and written, “Are you kidding me? I was at my house having a perfectly normal afternoon sitting in my LIVING ROOM when I felt something watching me.. I looked up and saw two men on the terrace of my neighboring building with a camera right at me! In what world is this okay and allowed? This is a gross invasion of someone’s privacy! There’s a line you just cannot cross and it’s safe to say all line were crossed today! @mumbaipolice.”

Celebs extend support to Alia

Anushka Sharma, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Shaheen Bhatt came out in support of the actress. The celebrities slammed the media portal for leaking her private pictures.

Alia’s mother-actor Soni Razdan too expressed her shock over the incident. The veteran actress wrote, “Shocked and dismayed at this blatant disregard for a persons privacy. Are we really turning into ‘that country’ now? Where all our country norms simply cease to exist when it comes to ‘getting the picture’? Hope someone can address this and fast!

Alia, who welcomed her first child, daughter Raha, with husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor last year, is currently enjoying motherhood.
