ETimes Troll Slayer: Calling Manushi Chhillar’s bold dress ‘disgusting fashion’ is distasteful – Times of India

Manushi Chhillar went all glam during her recent appearance at Filmfare Middle East and boldly carried off a strapless yellow gown, which came with a pastel pink trail and a grand bow at the back. While Manushi looked comfortable in her glam outfit, trolls decided to attack her choice.

ETimes doesn’t support such social media hate, especially when mindless netizens play judge from behind anonymous garbs. Take a look at some of the barbs Manushi faced and our response to the same:

“Somebody tell her that curtains of her home are stuck with her dress..”

“Ye kaun vahiyat dress designer hai jo itna faltu kapda piche aur niche lga ke baki body dikhate hai…..inke dimag hai ki nhi aur upper se ye girls hats off pehn bhi leti hai…. seriously disgusting fashion”

If you two feel you have a great sense of humour, think again. This is couture that a designer has worked hard on. Comparing thoughtful style to home curtains is just shading someone’s effort with hate and negativity. If it is not in you to appreciate fashion, then let it be, but why demean it?

“Kindly find the mental designer and send him to hospital immediately”

Making light of mental health in order to troll a celebrity just reflects your poor mindset. Everyone is free to voice their opinions, but definitely not at the cost of mocking an important issue like mental health. Instagram comments are not just for trolling, but can also be used to spread a positive word! Also do comment on what makes you a fashion authority.

“Flop + medical career bhi chhod diya”

A few years ago people like you were hailing Manushi Chhillar for bringing home the prestigious Miss World crown. Pity then, that it just takes one bold dress for the actress to be tagged as ‘flop’. While she is taking fierce, but measured steps towards success, we suggest you take your muddled ideas elsewhere.
